Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

Well I am sure you are all busy putting the finishing touches on your Holiday plans. My boys will be coming home this Friday and I am really looking forward to the activity around the house. Maybe they will get the tree decorated for me!!!
We have had some excitement in our town recently. About two weeks ago we had 97 mile and hour winds causing lots of problems in the Los Angeles area. Downed trees and power lines were just the beginning. Many of our customers didn't have any power for almost a week. The mess in the streets is still being addressed. We had our big beautiful Blue Spruce come down on our house. Funny thing though we didn't even hear it come down. All is well though, the tree is cleaned up and the fixing has begun. We are all counting our blessing that no one was hurt during the windstorm.

Speaking of Blessings, I would like to thank all of you for being our customers. Running a small business isn’t for the easy these days but thanks to all of you we are able to turn the lights on and open the front door every day.

Currently we have trunk shows by Kirk & Hamilton and Danji in the store. They will both be here until the end of the month.

Our next trunk show is Ruth Schmuff Designs. I have posted a few examples of her work. These canvases are really well painted, very colorful, and a joy to stitch.
The show runs January 13 - 30.
